Welcome to a 3-hour workshop suitable for anyone who want to better understand how and why yoga postures work — and how to adapt them in a way that truly supports your own body.

We will explore some of the most commonly practiced postures found in regular yoga classes, including downward dog, warrior variations, chaturanga, triangle, pyramid, twists, and accessible backbends such as cobra and upward facing dog.

Each posture will be broken down step by step, with attention to:

  • the intention and function of the pose
  • common misalignments and unnecessary strain
  • 2–3 practical ways to modify based on different bodies and needs
  • one sustainable way to deepen the pose without force

You will be given time to explore and sense each posture in your own body, with clear guidance and individual support throughout. The approach is practical, grounded, and accessible — technical enough to be informative, yet light and enjoyable.

The aim is for you to leave the workshop feeling more confident, informed, and empowered in your regular yoga practice, with tools you can immediately apply in class.

  • practice yoga regularly and want to build a stronger foundation
  • feel unsure or inconsistent in certain postures
  • want to move with more stability and awareness
  • are curious about alignment and biomechanics without rigidity or dogma

Lärare: Kasondra Rydstrand

Kasondra is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher with training from India and Bali. Her teaching is primarily rooted in Hatha, Ashtanga, and pranayama. She has a strong focus on helping both beginners and experienced practitioners develop stability, clear alignment, and an embodied understanding of breath and movement.

Her approach is grounded, creative, and attentive, with an emphasis on safety, awareness, and presence. Kasondra’s teaching is firmly anchored in yogic philosophy while remaining practical and accessible, encouraging students to build a deeper relationship with their own bodies.

She describes her personal motivation as follows:

“For me, yoga is the meeting point between the body and intention — where the physical practice becomes a pathway into something deeper.”

Originally from the USA, Kasondra lived in Spain for six years before recently relocating to Stockholm. She is fluent in English and Spanish and brings over nine years of personal practice, along with extensive teaching experience from Spain and private online sessions.
